Leah's Birth
Leah was born on the 20th of January at 12 pm. I started feeling back pain about 930 the night before, even after going for a walk.
I just new things were going to happen as I was 10 days late of EDD (10th) date. So I was happy.
As the night went on the surges got closer and stronger. At 4 am we meet my midwife at the hospital and walked up the stairs slowly with surges every few minutes. We made it nicely to a low lit room and made ourselves at home...well, as much as you can.
The pool was getting filled, but we never made it in as Leah's heart rate a was a little high, but steady. So I had to wear a monitor.
I really found the J breathing towards the end amazing! Leah did get a little stuck at one stage, but made it out after 10 hours safe and sound!
No drugs needed!! Yippeee. We are doing fine at home with family helping loads with dinners and washing. They are just great!!
Thanks again to Anna Wilde, my husband and I really enjoyed the course, and will recommend it to others for the future!
